Actually,I didn't want to sacrifice military strength.I just didn't fortify the cities in Yucatan because they were safe from enemies.After all,I wanted to crush the Englishmen.And the Aztecs were my allies.Betraying me is the last thing they would think to do,for their main priority was to keep themselves safe from Tlaxcala.Attacking Spain didn't interest me.My main priority was to send the English back to England.But that Tlaxcala wouldn't hesitate to attack the Spaniards,although they(Spaniards)had superiority in technology,and utilised animals into warfare.Just saying...

Some hints, I'm fighting factions of three different religions and it's not going too well (but in my defense, it's my first SS campaign and I haven't done Med 2 for a few years)

Also, I can't rep people that guess me right because I'm not yet active enough. Since I assume this is a tough one I might provide more hints

Oh woops forgot to add the crusades stuff. Two crusades, one on Granada (Venice) and one on Selvis (Sevilla) which was cancelled because the Portugese took the town with a non-crusading army. P.S. it's early campaign and I have 20.000 in my treasury

Welcome to the forum! If you need any formatting help just ask and we'd all be glad to assist. I'm going to guess Sicily, that hint is rather crucial. You could be Turks, but they'd have to be at war with Cumans, which seems unlikely considering they are already tied down.

Sicily seems like a rather difficult Campaign to me. The initial provinces in Africa aren't that profitable, and you only start with militia against Skirmishers and eventually the mighty Moors/Fatimids. The unique unit is only "Norman Knight" too, and by that point Catholics will have Feudal Knights, and potentially gunpowder.

Historically speaking the Pope hated the Normans of Italy and encouraged the Romans to invade under Komnenos, so any expansion Northward is limited by the threat of a Crusade, expansion Eastward pits you against the strongest Faction (in Early era anyway), and the Venicians are continually expanding down the Dalmatia coast and making forays into North Italy, making the Aegean a dangerous place!

Puddingkip, I wouldn't worry about rep and the 25 post limit - I started posting on here with under 25 too, and the community is very forgiving. I like to entertain the thought we all care more about enjoying the game than getting "rep".

Venice winning that crusade seems dodgy! With that territory over there, you could be fighting the Moors as well as the Byzantines and someone Catholic in Europe, so I'll say Republic of Venice (probably wrong, though)!
