Hmmm, good map, challenging one.

Let's see:
Venice and Poland seem favorites, but there are also some other unusual (from my experience) things on this map, like England in Toledo, Sicily in Zaragoza, Russia, Denmark and Egypt conquering certain provinces so soon...

But all in one, I'd pick Venice (weird expansion in central Europe plus owning Acre), I guess a human player controlling Poland would of taken Crimea.
Putin sure did (sorry, couldn't help myself)

L.E.: After the final tip, I'm changing to a turtling Russia, although it can also very well be Denmark or Sicily or England.
It's hard for me to believe that a catholic faction controlled by the player would of stayed out completely from Crusades.
And Sicily excommed and called a Crusade against?! Only if you played a mockery of a game...

It has to be Venice, you probably conquered Ajaccio and Florence and gave it to the Pope and went to expand in Central Europe, something I've never see the AI do. Though England conquering Toledo and Sicily conquering Zaragoza is new to me too.It's definitely an interesting map!

Alright then, that makes the map even more interesting. I'm sorry for you suggesting something that would be against the rules, but the Pope conquering Ajaccio is definitely new to me.
