The stuff you see in the movies is inaccurate in my experience. If people drank/partied that much they would just flunk out in their first semester. I have fun here but I am here to get an education, which means school work comes first. And not everyone is in a fraternity...

It's not something popular in The Netherlands(Stig now you now the nation but which Part ?).
Most college go'ers return home after lessons so I'm curious

I tend to avoid them, I just make an ass of myself after a few drinks by taking the whole Roman/Greek theme a bit too seriously.

Welcome to the game. So far the patricians have held the power - lucky to get a Plebeian active and playing so far, but things may be changing. Libanus, Lucullus and Regulus have had the major commands so far and have 90% of the legions, but are just starrting serious hostile foreign actions. Everyone else seems to be searching for some kind of alliance to try to get himself an army to invade somewhere, meanwhile the senate just went on a construction spree.

Not all American beer is piss, and you can gladly come tour the Boston Beer Company with me to enjoy good brew.
However, beer at a college party is typically the cheapest they can find.

Sam Adams is ok.

Its better than ok. They offer a lot more than just Boston Lager. A good Double Bock is very nice if you feel like something that wont be chugged down.

But whatever, beer tastes usually develop slower from what I have noticed.
