I have found that it doesn't, so what it says in the readme is wrong. Why don't you download the patch of of www.totalwar.com.
Oh, and please, no discussion of illegal activites.

Only original game can be updated or maybe I am wrong? And I am sorry abot illegal activites but I had original russian version and it is kinda crappy and also canno't be patched. So I wanted english and got it

I have russian version aswell. And it can be patched with a little effort. If you know russian, you can easily find out what should be done at russian forums. Again, you can use russian patches from their site, but TE wont work with them (I tried it).
