As the game would start at the beginning of the GoT book, there is no Stannis, as the Dragonstone Lordship would belong to the Iron Throne (as originnaly it was part of the Crownlands...if not so someone correct me). Therefore I suggest you keep Riverrun until we see what´s what.

Yeah, sorry about the lack of updates for the recent, but I have been trying to get permission from someone regarding a set of rules, but I'll start looking around again, I just figure it should be easier to try with one or two others before going back to the drawing board for our own. I would be working on the rules but I'm unsure of where to start so I am waiting to (hopefully) gain permission to modify a set of rules so that I have a base to work off of.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:  I know this is not the final map, but this is what I thought about, maybe it will be helpful in some way: Suppose I am the Prince of Dorne (how the Martells called themselves, after the Rhoynish custom). Now as more palyers join the game, if all the main titles are taken, maybe I, as the ruler of Dorne, would be able to grant them titles and lands, such as (notice regions on map):Lord of Starfall, Lord of Blackmont, Lord of Kingsgrave, Lord of Wyl and so on. They would all be my vassals and they would answer to me first. If a foreign Lord ( say Lord of Uplands - in the Reach) has a problem with the Lord of Blackmont, he would have to complain to his liege who would then contact me, but only if the problem is serious. In other words, first thing to do is solve the matter between the 2 of them and if things get out of hand, the matter would be settled between the two major Houses. If not, at least keep in mind the idea about granting land and lordships, thus establishing vassal-liege interactions.

Yes, the vassel-ness is a must, I will work on tomorrow making a draft of rolls and such to decide battles and costs for troops that need to be hired and mantained in order for you to have an army of any size.

this is a good idea, but can we play as lesser lords? if so can i have Harras Harlaw (and possibly Rodrik Harlaw).

I think it will be possible, but not until many players join in. For now, I think we must first get all the main positions occupied.

When I get a moment I was going to base this off of GTSK, and in that every member gets a personal retinue of 50 men when you become a knight, which sticks with you throughout your the character's life and when you get the next rank you get an additional 50, so a king has around a 200 man retinue or so.

Yeah, really sorry about the waits, but I am on March Break now, so I should have lots of time to work on and make a set of rules that are viable for this RP. Thanks for being so patient and hopefully I will be done soon, also no spoilers past the second book if you can help it because I'm halfway through the third.

When I get around to getting the rules up we will start, you basically RP fights, battles and other things, most outcomes will be based upon rolls done by moderators, there will be factors which allow you to gain better rolls and certain other things.

Update, I've changed a couple of things within the main post, have started work on getting the rules ready, and am looking for anyone who wishes to be a mod/assist with getting the RPG off the ground sooner.
