I have the same problem. I'm able to build wooden forts, but there's no icon present to upgrade to artillery and star forts. I wasn't even aware of the problem until I had lost a region with a wooden fort I'd built sitting in it, only to stumble across a star fort in the same place on my return.

Anybody have any clue on how one would resolve this problem? It's frustrating to know that the CPU is able to upgrade forts, while I am not.

An addendum : I have Darthmod installed (not DMUC).

Play vanilla and then tell me if it happens. If not, it's Darth's problem.

In fear of messing up my current campaign by uninstalling the mod, I've checked out the Darthmod Empire 7.0 Feedback thread and it looks like there are a few people reporting the issue. It seems as though it's most likely a mod problem.

I'll keep this thread updated with any prospective information I get on a possible solution.

Verify the game cache is your only option as it would be a missing file BUT if you are now playdarth, may not do much good.

Uninstall does not mean delete. Did you manually yourself delete those folders? Steam won't do it. Sega won't do it. CA won't do it. Microsoft is too stupid to do it.
