Increase the first number in the 'soldier' line of the unit in the EDU.

    Hello,

I just tried it out on SSHIP v0.8, I just wanted to tinker with unit stats, but where do the saved changes go to? I didn't see any changes for the skythikon in either the SS mod folder file export_descr_unit or within the unit editor folder itself. Where do the changes save to?

It will be saved in the editor's folder as newedu.txt - the modelDB file will be saved there as mdb.txt

Hi... Think I must be making something wrong: unpacked in the mod folder, files txt inside, and the program response "no edu files found". Under Windows 7 64 bits.

You may have pointed to the wrong directory or there simply is no EDU file in the directory\mod

Thanks, Gigantus. I'll try to make the process again.
The "edu" files have the extension "txt" and put the program in the wrong place. I think this is the conflict ... But I'll try to synchronize the folders again. Thanks for your help.
Ah ... And I have another question about the mod extraordinary 1648: War of the 30s, but go to the specific fórum.

I'm a bit new to this still, can somebody help me find exactly how you import units from one mod to another?

Been reading over that for a little while now that I got the time (thanks for being patient) This is.. a lot of information to work with and I'm still sifting through it. But it seems that it all relates to moving units that already exist in game from one faction to another. Are the steps basically the same to bring units from a mod into the game?

I've downloaded the Unit editor and it was working fine, but after the first use, the drop menus for factions and attributes all stop working, both on the unit and model tabs, as in you click the boxes and nothing appears. Its quite strange.
