Siphonatores? Only playing as Byzantium, and only in Constantinople. You start of with one unit, which you can retrain as long as it doesn't drop below 70% or so, then after turn 120 (in the early campaign) or so, you can recruit new ones...

yes, in the late campaign Byzantium has them as well. I'm not sure whether it's from the start, or if you have to wait a while like in the early campaign ...

They start with Constantinople as rebels, that's why I ask.

well, you'll first have to conquer Constantinople as the ERE - only then your siphonatores will become available, only in Constantinople, as in the early campaign ...

Mangonels and I have a love/hate relationship...In that I love when they detonate right in the enemy lines (especially if there was a blob of men and it takes out dozens at a time), but I hate when they go off right as they are launched, killing my own men.

I made a "Greek-Fire Pot" projectile in descr_projectiles and descr_area_effects and assigned it for the ballista to shoot in the edu.

It's easy to be tsundere for the Mangonels. I think you forgot the times when they completely miss their target without hurting you.
