    You'll find some info here: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...ing-new/page76
    The guys are from Ukraine and as you know it's not easy right now... And I think you'll find some pictures on the moddb page.

    Hi there, just installed this and loaded it up. First time I've ever done a mod so a little lost but it all seemed to work great. Got into the game menu, selected the campaign and then picked my race and played with a couple of the difficulty/advise options.

    Hit "start" and it just went back to the previous menu, clicking the campaign again did nothing. So I clicked back, then into the single player option etc. again and to the screen to select the race and setup the campaign. Again when clicking start it just went back a screen instead of starting the campaign, I've tried a number of times now with different races and settings and the actual game won't load.

    Wondering if anyone else has had this problem and possibly knows a fix?

    Get me Kahvipannus version of the descr_strat and I'll have a look. I seem to recall that smith buildings were at the beginning or something like that.

    I wrote that the installer will appear frozen (exactly at the point you describe), clicking anywhere on the screen will crash the installer - go and install again.

    Looks like a Crash to Menu problem which is usually related to descr_strat.
    Have you installed all the patches and quick fixes?

    Did you download and installed all the Patches/Hotfixes from the first two posts?

    For those who are still experiencing errors make sure of the following:

    - Installed Medieval II + Kingdoms V1.5
    - Installed RoDG V1.5.1 + all patches/hotfixes. ( See first two posts of this thread. )
    - Check this link if you use Steam: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...tall-for-Steam
    - VirtualStore issue's: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...Store-Problems
    - Delete Map.rwm : ( Could be located in your VirtualStore folder. How to find enable Hidden Folders: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/w...iles=windows-7

    Also if you're reporting error's try to provide as much info as you can. ( Logs are very helpful! )

    Hi mate, yep all the patches and quick fixes installed, followed the instructions step by step and everything seemed to work fine until I actually try to launch the campaign. What is "descr_strat" and how can I check it is the right version/correct?

    Uninstall again, run the virtual store tutorial from step 3, delete the M2TW folder in the virtual store and then re-install with all the patches and quick fixes.

    Is Reallybad AI already in this version and updated? I see in the OP that it says so, but I am still experiencing issues with enemy units just standing around letting me fire volleys into them, and persistent crashes with any form of reinforcements.

    Yes it is included. Don't forget to use the last fix in the 2nd post.

    Hey Gigantus, I ended fixing most of the stuff, Ive been playing these last days but today I launched it and it shows the game in windowed mode and I cant play it full screen.
    I have also experienced a few crashes, but as i save the game every turn thats not really a big deal. These crashes make the chaos has taken over sigmar preserve us message pop up.
    Tell me how to give you the information you need to help me as im a bit slow with this kind of things, thanks.

    I see that you're using Steam like me, do you launch the game with the Executable.bat? If not you should use it, it's located in the Rage_of_dark_Gods folder.

    Yeah, I use that Executable, I used to launch it from the Kingdoms executable but It started to show the game in windowed mode (like this) I then changed and used the executable.bat and it worked but now it is again in windowed mode and I dont know why

    Check your medieval2.preference.cfg in the medieval 2 folder and the configuration.cfg in the Rage_of_dark_Gods folder. And see if there's something wrong. But honestly I don't know why it would come in windowed mode like this. I doubt it has anything to do with the mod itself.

    Windowed mode should look like this in the CFG file, yours might not have the 'borderless' line:

    [video]
    windowed = 1
    borderless_window = 1

    To make sure, simply open the CFG file in the Rage_of_dark_Gods folder with Notepad and copy the content here. And attach the medieval2.preference.cfg file as well.

    Still waiting for a reply, thanks.
