    Default Civitate Review - May

The Consilium de Civitate has been up and running for about half a month now. During that time the members of the Council and participating senior staff have continued the process of reviewing and voting on potential Civitates.

Following Justinians April Review, the following results were recorded in May 2006

21 Candidates were Discussed and Voted on

    14 were accepted
    7 were rejected

    66.7% of candidates passed.
    33.3% of candidates failed.

The Council took part in five of these votes. Of this five, 2 failed to pass while 3 succeeded.

Almost the same as last month. Although less candidates were proposed, meaning the CDC is stemming the tide, or Pleb quality is falling....

In May the Consilium de Civitate, once active, played an active part in the discussion of five potential Civitates.

Of this five, 2 failed to pass while 3 succeeded.

    EDIT

ill add that to the first post

Actually, Spiff, to correct you, the appropriate figure is 21 civitates were proposed, 14 passed, 7 failed, making the pass rate 66.6%, exactly 1/3.

i can only see 20, they conveniently fill an entire page in the chamber at the moment. Counting from the top of the list, the 21st was proposed 04-28-2006, the 20th was proposed 05-01-2006, and the most recent was 05-29-2006

Spiff, look at the list again. There was a double vote for two clients, apostate and the celt, in one thread. As such the figure is 21, and both passed, meaning 14 passed.

Hmm, the results are quite similar to that of last month's. There was an overall drop in the number of canidates this month but about the same percentage.

66.6%? Must be some kind of message from Lucifer!

So what's with the rejected members? Will they get a second chance in a few weeks/months?

They have to wait a month again to be voted on again, that is if some one is willing to try patronizing them again.

Yes, by the Patronization Act within the Syntagma it is stated that

However if a candidate failed they are likely to have to demonstrate a noticeable positive change in order to pass where they previously failed.

a dobule vote for two clients?
does that mean someone proposed 2 clients at the same time?
i only ask because a patron is only allowed to patronise 1 client per moth, according to the patronisation act

Yeah two happened at once apparently, though this happened on 05-09-2006, and the revision to the act didnt pass until 05-15-2006, so its all good.

In retrospect we were both wrong as they were proposed in April but passed in May

It's 66.7%, not 66.6%. Your rounding is incorrect.
