Options 1 or 2 seem the best to me.

Option 3 is a no go, the point is supposed to be the best of the year, so it ought to be option 2 I think.

I'll post a link in the Chat Thread to try and get some more insight - in-fact I better take a trip to the AAR forums and seek out their opinions.

I also think that option 2 would be the best way to go.

I think this is an excellent idea.

I would vote for Option 2, but it does worry me, what if say there are really good AAR's around (which have been going for quite a while) but that haven't entered a MAARC?

I would add a small condition, basically Option 2 OR has been ongoing for more than six months. The latter usually requires a lot of commitment and would "weed out" inappropriate entries.

Just my 2 cents. (or pence as it were)

Option 1 sounds good to me! Good luck on this project, I hope it works out!

Could you guys sort of spread this? I've opened some threads in the Eras/MTW/Non-TW AAR forums but if you are a reader of someone's AAR if you could casually slip it in that'd be great.

I think that the option two is the best, it assures that the works have already a good public of readers, in the end an Yearly competition is something important, we can see the results of one year of activity, so yes Option two!

But I think that it should be very publicized! If I can advance a small critic is that sometime I lost the vote in some Montly competitions for the assence of informations.....

Ah! forgetting! great idea!!!....it might become like the Night of the Oscar! Long life to Mr. ybbon and Mr. Shankbot and all the guys here!

Just to be clear, I started the thread but it was HeirofAlexanders idea originally, not mine

    Thank-you for your input mate.

If you could tell anyone you know who is an AAR writer then please tell them about this, I've opened up a couple of threads but I'm not sure how effective they have been.

Open submissions - anyone can enter and have a chance of winning who had an active AAR with at least 6 updates in the past year.

Hi everyone, just to let you know that we are planning to go with Option 2 and you should see everything rolling out in the near future.
