1: Is a breakdown into 2 factions needed? I mean: will their units/gameplay be so different?

No, both factions will have the same roster but the clann were rivals, which could be a good addition.

2; I assume the Orkneys and Shetlands are not included on the map? (otherwise they could be a faction as well)

Yes, Orkney and Shetlands are already in and Orkney will possess their own Norwegian based roster.

Well, technically it's possible but those Galloglaigh were more from the 15th century but yes definitively do in later projects.

Hey guys,

I know this factions is already prety much done, but I visited the battlefield of Harlaw last week where one of the biggest battles between the Lordship of the Isles and the Kingdom of Scotland occured in 1411. A memorial was built there with the inisignia of both sides, one of them very similar to the badge you chose for the LotI on WotW, so I thought I'd share some pics. Have fun

I suppose you are the expert here, though and will know more about it then me But it shouldn't be too difficult to get the most important information was we don't need the exact course of the battle- after all the player should be able to change it. I think other facts like the battlefield, the number of soldiers in both armies and their commanders should be available.

I played Lordship of the Isles on the demo this is my favourite faction so far. I have one concern I could not run down my enemys when they were routing Which I find disapointing I realise a island clan fation like Lordship of the Isles had very little use for calvary due to the terrain and there norse battle tactics but for the sake of gameplay could you add a light cavlary unit so I can run down the enemy or at the very least recruit a light calvary unit in that area thanks.

Your issue is my concern as well, but we will fix it. Border horses will probably be available as merc.'s.
