    Default Photoshop Rendering Help

Having some problems with Photoshop. I'm trying to make a render for a personal signature, however, the background eraser tool is having trouble distinguishing the guy's hair, the lower portion of his arms, and his jaw area. Should I lower/raise the tolerance or..?

    Image I'm talking about:

Is it on "Contiguous" mode, "Discontiguous" mode, or "Find Edges"? Put it on Find Edges mode and try again.

In any case, I wouldn't use BG eraser or Magic wand on these types of pictures.

I already had Find Edges on, if Magic/BG isn't suitable for this picture, then what do you recommend?

Try manually rendering it with pen tool? Or if you're lazy (like me), quick selection tool comes in handy in these situations.

Have you worked out how to do it with the pen tool?

Proper rendering is only done by pen tool.
