    Why is Ireland not playable makes no sense to me. Ireland was in conflict with England throughout the middle ages, while other European countries were at peace. Use the Scottish as the Irish army just paint them green and we should be good to go lol.

    I don't think the non-factoring of Ireland is even worth bothering with.

    Are you looking at including some of the other rosters found on the subforum?ie caudillos Komnenian roster mod,lord hamiltons english units and even the rest of the rusichi skins (which are the best) as it would be a pity too continue having SS updates and yet still leave these great additions to the wayside,incl of course a number of other great little mods made by fans here.

    Ireland and Scotland dont "exactly" have the same kind of military units

    I like Ireland too, but they weren't signifigant on the world stage.
    I know Scotland wasn't really either, but they were more an important antagonist to England, who was important.

    I personally love playing out the what if scenarios. (e.g. Ireland succesfully crusades and establishes the Irish Kingdom of Jerusalem. How weird would that be?)

    Scotland also had an alliance with the Kingdom of France which was one of the most important alliances in the Middle Ages. Ireland pales in significance to when compared to Scotland or any other faction that is in-game. When considering factions to add you have to examine the relative importance and effect on the rest of the region during that time period. In this case Ireland was only involved in wars with England and at times invaded/raided by Norway.

    So historically, Ireland had no serious impact outside the Isles in the Middle Ages. Even if you argue that they had an effect on the rest of the Europe and Western Asia, it was less than any other faction in game which means it is not worth it. This discussion has been had many times and the answer won't change because you are Irish and you want it to.

    Ireland was split and divided like Wales was. The Irish units in the Rebels faction is enough. Though it'd be cool to have like an "Irish uprising" event where a stack or two of Irish units as Rebels spawn if you have too low public order there. Same for Wales and Scotland. I mean, the units are there from Kingdoms so it wouldn't be massively hard to implement, I wouldn't think.

    I'd love to have Ireland in game, but I see the general point of folks here. I think the HISTORY!!! is a little silly though, these games, while historical, are about changing history. Last time I checked, Sweden didnt rule the Middle East, Scotland didnt invade Spain, the Holy Roman Empire didnt rule all of Western Europe, so forth so on. Also, in this game, you have a general suspension of historical fact for certain factions(the Holy Roman Empire wasnt exactly a unified thing ya know. Nor was France.)

    If I didnt have crap internet, I might would attempt a submod.

    Maybe add some autonomous regions in Wales, Switzerland and the Holy Lands? I can think of several bonuses to those regions.

    Is It possible to do away with all the peasent units for all factions in order to add new factions to the map. If all factions start with the next level above peasent units at the same cost of peasent units it might make for better game play. peasent units for me are a waste of time. if you can use the slots for other more useful areas to the game why not. just a thought.

    How many tpy will it be? Can it be 4? 1tpy was annoying and everything happened too slowly in terms of years
