Charlie: So what? You waltz in and make yourself at home whenever I'm out?
Rose: That's not true. Sometimes you're upstairs asleep.
Pretty epic
Thanks guys!
First pics of the map tyrol, Italians versus Austrians
Firstly, great job. Secondly,How many hills are there in this map? If they are more than one,is there any way to make them more strategical? Capturing strategical hill positions would be good. Another idea from me again...
I don't think it is possible to create "real" capture points.
The system developed by NTW3 team (The Lords), the LoC system (Line of Communication), work only for multi-player battles and need to count Victory Points "by hand", system not being handle by NTW game engine.
The idea is :
to encourage players to defend and attack determined positions, as well as to guard you LoC from the enemy. All positions are represented by a building and their value points shown on the mini map. This are to be played with a 60 minutes timerBattle map look like this :Line of Communication Maps:
This concept is based on the historical need for armies to hold and defend their line of supplies during a battle.
This is portrayed in our new breed of maps by one building on each side that represents 4 Victory Points (VP’s) when it is held.
Each side will need to hold their Line of Communication (LoC) while going for a maximum of objectives. Each objective is also represented by a building that gives, when it is occupied, 1 VP.
There is an average of 3 or less objectives on the maps, so no team can win a battle if it loses their LoC.
Each LoC and Objective is clearly indicated on the radar map by a star with its VP’s.
Battles are set to be played in 3vs3 or 4vs4 with a time limit of 60 minutes.
This, we hope, will add one more layer in our search for a more historically accurate gameplay.
This feature is unfortunately not handled by the NTW engine, so each side must count its VP’s at the end of the battle to determine which team is victorious.
Nevertheless, all of these Objective Maps and LoC Maps can be played as a usual map.
Wow, I'm speechless, panzerschreck!
What groundbreaking work!!! Truly stunning and game-stretching, into WW1 time era!
I'm about wrapping up my Crimean Khanate Realism mod for Empire Total War. I have Khan Palace, Tatar Small Mosque, Tatar Large Mosque, and various types of poor-class, middle-class, and high-class Tatar houses buildings. I'd like to recreate Bakhchisaray town map (with bridge too over a river like in one of your photos), complete with the famous Bakhchisaray Fountain. At least in Russian-speaking circles, this Ottoman Selsibil-style fountain has been immortalized through Alexander Pushkin's poem. Some say this artistic poem saved this historic city from being renamed to Sadowsk by the Soviets.
I could really use a tutorial how to create maps like you do. Also, I'll send you what models I have for your critique, so you have an idea what I'm working with and would like to implement into ETW for my CKR mod.
Best regards, peace,
TG
thanks wangrin and TuranianGhazi. Mapping is a art which is long to learn,
