Yes, he is right Simetrical. It leads you to that message that says "invalid thread specified." Otherwise, nice job compiling all this, im sure it will be very helpful to people.

Simetrical, like i said, this is a great resource. Is there any chance you know of something i can use to learn how to change cultures (e.g. switching egypt to seem like rome)?

I don't think anyone's written a tutorial on that, unfortunately.

Those tendencies are hardcoded. They can't be changed. Different ones can be assigned to any single faction in descr_strat.txt, but you can't make up new tendencies.

a faction has a culture thracian=greek dacia=barbarian,in reference to your modworkshop question,no you can't add a faction there is a limit of 21, but you can re-brand an existing faction useing the tutorials above,

Yes, you can "re-brand" a faction with another culture. The Guide I wrote goes a step beyond this however and allows you to re-brand a faction with an additional culture (i.e. you can create a seventh culture to add to the six vanilla cultures). It would perhaps be of use to mods covering large and diverse maps with many cultures, or for fantasy mods with many races. Smaller mods would probably not need to use it although a careful use of a seventh culture could actually enhance the map of an ostensibly six-cultured campaign but this would be something only advanced modders would be able to implement.

The best way to explain the relationship between cultures and factions is that a faction belongs to one culture, but one culture can have many factions. The factions of that culture will share the same buildings, protraits and sounds along with other things.

How do I make everything on the campaign map visible?

( I've tried to ask about this before, with no luck )

I mean, what do I have to change in order to make everything visible on the campaign map, not the battle map? I want to be able to see every city, AI charachter, army etc on the campaign map.

    Anybody knows?

Thats what toggle_fow does, it removes the fog of war that covers most of the map making only things within a certain radius of cities and characters visible. It works on the campaign map, and removes fow, try it and see.

Sorry, but I don't get it. Where do you want me to type " `toggle_fow "?

I have changed the preferences from TRUE to FALSE, and it works fine. But the thing is it doesn't change my already started campaign ( and I don't want to start over again... ).

No, I'm not very good at this... ;-)
