    This painting is of the Lee to the rear at the Widow Tapp Field at the Wilderness
    which the Hoods Texans sent Lee to the rear after he went out infront of them trying to lead them possibly saving his life.
    Just last summer I went to the Wilderness and the Widow Tapp Field and saw the marker and the spot where it happened.

    Is there any art of Cold Harbour. I find it very difficult to find good images and info on the battle (It seems to be overlooked in a lot of places).

    Don Troiani is a great artist. I highly recommend Don Troiani's "Civil War" or "Uniforms of the Civil War" for those interested.
