Archer is light purple, what the hell's going on!? That colour doesn't strike fear into people's hearts, it makes them think of pretty flowers, and a woman's bedroom.

It was more expensive in the Medieval times - the dye being extracted from the lapiz lazuli, I think. But, wasn't the blue even more prestigious and expensive?

The Imperial purple was introduce during the Holy Roman Empire, wasn't it? I think that, in the time period of the forums, it was red. But, what are we arguing about?

Yours actually also says "upper class". Therefore, we can just as well give the Praetors a purple colour, as they are "upper class" mods, are they not? Or Consuls, too.

We could, technically. But it'd be confusing, wouldn't it?. Now you want Archer to have red color. As far as I know, a lot of the staff has red as color too. Now THAT would be confusing too.
