After some hours, he dried it, and then placed it into a canvas bag of sand, shaking it vigorously, removing the rust. Finally, after shaking the sand from the mail shirt, he oiled the entire hauberk, polished the helm, and hung it from the mannequin once more. He went to Lord Marsh to tell him that his armour was clean, and ask for another task.
