Welcome in the forum.
Thank you for the welcome, and the mod!
Thanks Hameem,
After nearly a year of hesitating I have installed BC in a Windows 7 machine, in the usual directory with all the other mods, without uninstalling or reinstalling anything else, and indeed it seems to have worked fine. Settlements do not seem to work in custom battles but I have not noticed any other problems with BC itself or any of the other mods already installed. It was probably more straightforward than installing most other mods. +rep
And congratulations to the modding team for their hard work.
After spending a while cursing my computer's lack of any flexibility I have managed to finally get this to work and it looks fantastic I must say. One thing I am curious about though, is it normal to bleed out money at such a rapid rate initially. I have tried campaigns with Armenia, Jerusalem and Oman and have found it difficult to not lose between 2500-4000 florins a turn. If this is normal how to people stop this slide?
It should be noted as well that I have installed a clean version of 2.3, with it patched and the latest quick fix and that I am playing off Steam on Windows 7
its perfectly normal. Try to have a better approach to the gameplay... more strategic in terms of economy.
Okay, thanks for the reply. I'll admit it's a bit strange bleeding out that much money as I play a patient game and I simply can't do that, I'll have to expand very quickly with starting armies and turn the income around that way.
You can give yourself more starting money or you can reduce the upkeep of some units as well. I don't like rushing either.
No need. After playing for a while with Oman I've gotten used to how the economy works and I'm making a solid profit. Granted it needed an early rush on my part and being rewarded for missions with 2000 upkeep worth of Omani Nobles didn't help but I've gotten the hang of it.
Again I must give my thanks to the creators for an excellent mod in an area of history I'm very interested in.
Is this release compatable with the RBBR sub-mod? Please someone help me with this, its the only thing keeping me from downloading this fix, and if I don't every campaign I play gets ruined by the Crusade script.
My rig.
Ok, this thread is over.My list of most anticipated mods:
i think that you talk about runsmat's RBBR submod right? i'm sorry but it's not compatible with 2.3.2
But my submod is. ^^
Actually I tried to use Rusnamt's submod, and it worked! What isn't compatible about it?

Can you unpack it anywhere like an ordinary archive file (.zip, .7zip, .rar)?
Is the save game compatible?
