    HOW DO I INSTALL IT??? I download the file but i have no idea how to open a RAR file, i downloaded winzip but i dont know what to do

    put rar file on desktop, install winzip, then right click on rar file and "extract here", hope that helps

    Many thx for your generous comments, but this is our only forum. And seeing soo many peeps have contributed to this mod it would be nice to see it getting the attention it deserves.
    I am currently testing a newer more stable version, it has a bigger economy, have redone the traits file from scratch, and have re balanced a lot of units, especially the morale bonus, battles are even more dynamic, cavalry is now more easily defeated, and a new wardog anti cav unit has made an appearance.
    Am spending some time researching about the use of wardogs by Samurai, apparently most daimyo had them, for chasing routed enemies, but not much evidence about them being used during the main battle. So taking a few units to chase down smaller stacks, or when you intend for no survivors after a big multi stacked battle, would make them a great addition to the battlefield.
    Am also awaiting a redo of the minor clans from Crociato78, it really adds to the flavour and historical accuracy of the mod.

    It's ok, i don't really have a problem with it, just thought you may wanted to know.

    Those ideas you have in mind sound very exciting. What exactly do you mean by bigger economy? Also, are there any plans to increase the prices and the upkeep of the units?

    Another idea would be to request someone in the forum to make new RNJ signatures for you, so the members could use them. With the background of the mod, it could surely produce some awesome ones.

    Glad to see you keep trying to make RNJ even better.

    Basicly have added "increases tax income by %" to all trade and weapon upgrade buildings, this has the effect of the ai building more and better infrastructure, and better armed enemy stacks as well as more cash to support more stacks.
    The upkeep has had little change, any suggestions welcome?

    It is because I am a fan of higher prices, more expensive units, lesser stacks, that's why. But i see we have different kind of philosophy Hehe, not a problem

    I do the same for the SPQR mod, too many stacks, however there's an easy fix, edit the descr_sm_resources.txt file and just halve the values, that will reduce the income, therefore less stacks.

    I started to play through Ran No Jidai and as i ended the turn it stops at a random clan and dosent move? The game isnt frozen or anything as i can still press ESC to get to the menu. Is this a bug or problem? and how can u fix it

    EDIT: It is happening to every campaign i start now i might try uninstalling It and reinstalling

    Hello, I installed everything without a problem, however when I start the game its not full screen. Any solution? Sorry if anyone else asked this before, its my first time in Ran no Jidai subforum.

    Just go to options (ingame) and change the resolution to match your desktop, mine set at 1920x1080 with monitor set to 16 bit colour, so in options I set battlefield and campaign map to 1920x1080x16

    Hi all.
    Any chance to get here alternative unit's info cards without the blood-like thing on it?
    Something like on the left picture below (I removed red manually).



    Another issue is bad visibility of selected units during battles. Here is an example. Selected unit is pointed with arrow, but one can see barley any difference between selected and non selected.
