CTD when launching game, after installing darth mod 8.1

hello i have recently revived the good old game rome total war

after having become sick of shogun 2


so now i installed darth mod 8.0 for better gameplay and then installed 8.1 in the installation dir.

if i have only installed 8.0 it works but if i install 8.1 it always does a CTD when i laucnh the game and never goes past ´loading screen.

How can i make this game work?


i use windows 7

the game has worked otherwise with windows 7

Most likely you have installed it to the wrong directory. I have done this in the past make sure your directory is the same. When Darth created the installer he made the directory path generic to enable people to choose their installation path.

I have problem too
When I play Rome it's okay
but when I play BI I always get a random CTD(sometimes when I'm lauching the game, sometimes when I play custome battle, sometimes when I play Imperial Campaign)
