Just so everyone knows, yes I will actually read your full story if you submit it to long fiction instead of making a short poem![]()
Is there a max limit for long fiction?
Otherwise I'll write an entire book![]()
No max limit. Though make it too long and you can't come come complaining to me that no one felt inclined to read it all and vote for it!
Thank you![]()
I have some questions; Does the themed one only have to include the word Shogun? or does it need to be ABOUT a Shogun? And the fiction, it can be historical fiction right?
Thanks

Themed one has to be about something involving the Shogunate I guess.
Fiction can be anything you come up with.

Hader or any other Librarian,
I was just wondering if you have a decent participation this year?
I doubt we can share the numbers we have received yet, but we'll only see how many it is on February 29th, 2012, when the deadline closes![]()
As of now, the final number of participants will only be revealed to the public when the voting period starts.
Regardless of how many have entered we can always use more.So keep spreading the word and encouraging members to enter!
If anyone is hesitant to enter due to unfamiliarity with the competition, take a look at the Scriptorium Editorial for September 2011 where the winners of the last competition were featured to see the type of entries that were entered and what won in the past.
By the end of the compeition this should be Hader with all the entries:
