My day sucks cos I couldn't play in the football match today cos of my busted knee.

Had a bunch of snow fall last night and my car isn't going anywhere!! So now I'm having to work from home, and Citrix isn't working!! Fan-bloody tastic!!

Pretty much got fired today. I had a job all year here in the dorms and I had to re-apply and I "wasn't selected" to come back.

Kind of pisses me off cause I'm pretty sure other people will be hired for pity because they were turned down from a higher position that they applied for.

Lol I wish. I found out someone that I recently had a falling out with managed to retain their job...It must have been a pity vote (she applied to be an RA but was turned down) because she had an even poorer performance in the job than I did.

Well, we are supposed to do two research essays, one on noise pollution and one on the HPV, for two different courses. We are supposed to dispense around eighty questionnaires for each essay and then analyze the results. Fact is, I have dispensed around thirty questionnaires on each, collected every one answered, while the other have done nearly nothing.
They are doing jack because the deadline is 2.5 weeks away and they say "relax, we have time". Considering that one of the two essays exempts us from sitting examination on the course, if we do it right and the other adds a +3 to our grade, you would say there should be ample motivation for them. Apparently there is not.
I absolutely hate team-based essays...
