Thank you for the rep. I forgot to precise that the helmet with flames on the sides (the 6th pictures) was one of Akechi Mitsuhide's.

    and Honda Tadamasa's armor.

But Erwin Rommel said in another thread here that it's Date Masamune's. (and I'd be interested to read what he think's of it, even if I'd rather trust him on this)
Originally it was Hideyoshi's ,but he gave it to Masamune as a gift.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Nothing, just wanted to see if you'd open it.

Thank you for that information !

Here's the last batch of pics for a while.

First, a better picture of Kuroda Nagamasa's famous ich-no-tani armor.

This one is interesting for it's original nio-do style.

And last but not least (slightly off-topic but worth it) Takeda Shingen's legendary armor.

Anyone know why Tachibana Muneshige was considered by Toyotomi Hideyoshi the best Samurai in west? This comes from wikipedia, so if the information is sketchy, let me know. My point is, I can't find any special reason why Tachibana Muneshige would be held in such high regard by Hideyoshi. Anyone here know more about Muneshige?

Perhaps it was a quip to politically pacify Ieyasu? After all, Tadakatsu was held in a pretty high regard. If the west had their own Tadakatsu, it could have evened things out a bit.

Awesome! Since the Blade Master is an entire armour set, what do you think about using the set for Kagekatsu?

That would be great and since we can play with Naoe, it would make it more enjoyable to play with a vassal of a badass looking daimyo !

Being new to the Forum, I am not quite sure your policy on linking sites, but I just thought it would be good to see this: http://books.google.com/books?id=Uzh...page&q&f=false

It has a ton of information that looks pretty legitimate to me, It's a very interesting read, It should answer many questions that you might have about the whole campaign, again, I am not really sure if this is allowed or not so if not just let me know, thanks!

Google Books are fine, as they have agreements with publishers thus making them legal.

I should add, this is just a preview of this book and explains a lot about how the conflict began

Osprey books are often very interesting and reliable since they tend to focus on a very specific subject, thanks for the link !

    edit :
That one is one of the best, it breaks down most of the myths about samurai armies/units.
