Anyway, you don't get to keep the ring, your buddy Sauron keeps it in his tower
Waaaaaaitwaitwaitwaitwait.
nazghul have to obey sauron, but they can still think, yes? They just have to listen to the big boss upstairs... And, comparitively speaking, That still gives me a loooooot more power than nearly anyone else around middle earth...
And the nazghul have their own rings! the nine rings given to the men, yes (maybe?)? I get a ring, if not the best...
Who needs feelings, taste, or sex? I have POWER!
(My Tolkein lore may not be up to scratch...its been a while)
Nope, you can't think and you have no ring. After you died and became a Nazgul Sauron commanded you to give it back
Well thaaaaaats no fun.
Fine. New plan. I'd be an elf who was raised with the dwarves, and have a respectable beard, to have the dwarvish awsomeness, but the elvish immortality and the option of beard-less women.
I would proceed to build an army of elves who fight and live like dwarves (minus the bearded women), and steal every single ring of power to be my own (including saurons), and enslave the nazghul to my will.
Man, but residing in Moria.
Elf can't die of old age !!!!
I will be raised by dwarves. That means i will get a beard automatically. If that is not enough, i will squander the power of one of the rings on facial hair. >:l
Realistically/ideally, humour aside, i'd more likely be a wormtoungue-type character. Evil, influential advisor who uses a king as a puppet. However, unlike wormtoungue, i will have balls, strength, and intelligence.
I'd say Wormtounge had all of that except balls
I don't like sitting in a throne. Sauron sat in a throne, look what happened to him!
Wormtongue had intelligence...of a sorts. And he had no strength (i am referring to physical strength). See, an advisor is supposed to turn the throned king into a figurehead, which wormtongue did, but it needs to be done with finesse. That way, if someone kills your king, rather than losing your head to the new conquerors, you can switch over to their side. Become their advisor. Turn their king into a figurehead.
I have all of the power of a nation, but none of the risk inheirent to being known to have power. Picture wormtongue...on sterioids, and with the subtletey of a spider. Of course, i'd definitely look nicer, too
YOU CAN'T HAVE ALL OF THAT, IT'S NOT FAIR!
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
So basically you want to be this fellow.
er-yes?
*has no idea who the guy is*
No? Ye gods... I thought everybody knew. Oh how dull and unenlightened the world has become.
Armand Jean du Plessis, Cardinal-Duc de Richelieu et de Fronsac...
Edit, you have read The Three Musceteers I presume? I mean not to demean you, I am just surprised.
You can have all those..... if you are Sauron.
Refers to Ar-Pharazon.
Aure entuluva!
