Game doesn't get fullscreen

Ok, i guess the title says all, when i launch the game, it runs normally, just doesn't occupy all of the screen. Its a recent problem, i've had SS 6.4 for months and played with absolutely no problems, at all. Then suddenly i opened it yesterday, and it got like that:

I have not changed any internal graphic configurations since i installed it, months ago. Now, i tried to change the resolution inside the options, to no avail.

The game is still playable, but, as you can see, i still can interact with the rest of the desktop.

Recently (last week) i installed "The Historical Units Region Buildings Mod", which led me to alter the launcher settings. I play Early Era, using Savage AI, BGR II and permanent watchtowers. I'm not sure, however, if this submod is the issue, because i have already launched it and it played fine, with full screen. This problem i have now, i repeat, was sudden.

EDIT: I restarted the setup and used the default SS early Era campaign (as the submod puts the HRUB as a separate option in the setup), and the game started with fullscreen. By logic, then, i conclude the problem is with the submod, then.

Now that i realized this, is this the correct forum? If possible, could a Moderator move this post of mine to "inside" the HBUR main page? If not, i can copy and paste inside the respective forum, and close this thread.

you can ask in the submod forum thread for the mod, but try clicking 'read only' on your ss config before loading with the submod and see if it loads full screen.

Putting in read-only seems to have worked . I don't know what sorcery you did, bud, but thank you for it!

His mod files are overwritting the config would be my guess, id still ask in his forum as it could cause problems being in read only but its defintely a file the submod has then. Glad its working for ya
