Hello,

after quite some time I logged into my account here. For some reason I was curious about the spread of my artwork on the internets. And by accident I stumbled upon a few threads where people discouraged mod makers from using my TLD concepts as a base for their submod units.

Yes, TLD devs have been strict about this, we usually didn't permit any use of our assets.

However, the "The Last Days of the Third Age" mod is now released and pretty much finished visually.

If you like my concepts, drawings and paintings of Middle Earth warriors, and if you want to use them as concept art for your mod, just ask me.

Send me an email to synnaskole AT seznam.cz, explain what you want to use for what purpose and I'll give you permission. (most likely, 99%)

And when you make something from my concepts, do send me the result! I want to see all the cool stuff you make.

Never said I wanted to.

I'm still testing and planning features for TLD anyway, even though there's not much left to be drawn.

Heck, if anyone here needs something concepted, I might be persuaded to draw it.

(a hint: a true-to-the-book unit will be easier to convince me of than a hobbit riding a giant spider.

I can't remember how many times I've looked through your gallery over the past year and a half or so. There's some really awesome stuff in there, and it's cool seeing how some of it has already worked its way into Third Age Total War with units like the Serpent Guard.

Does anyone else think this could be an excellent armor upgrade texture for a Dale unit like the Longbowmen or the Hearth Watchmen?
