Minecraft Java 7 Error Fix

Hey guys, I'm here with a quick script that will fix a bug with Java 7 for minecraft. As of the latest Java 7 update it won't allow the minecraft jar to connect to minecraft with ipv4, so you won't even get the loading screen you will get a failed to connect error. The error looks like this:

To fix this you can add this to your minecraft.exe shortcut: -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true

Or you can just download this .bat file and place it in the same place as your minecraft.exe and run the .bat file.

I have adobe flash. I dont know how it works on my computer, but I don't have java installed. That's why I can't play runescape.

Minecraft is a java based program and requires java to run.

Hmmm... yet id ont have java. I used to have a "Free" Version (it was crappy, i do not reccomend pirated copies) before I got my legal version, and that required java. But it didn't work because my computer didnt have java.

I still dont have java and my legal version works fine.

I don't think you understand. You need Java for Minecraft to run. There is no exception.

It is the very programming language that the program runs on. Without Java you're computer would look at Minecraft and simply not understand what the hell that garbage is.

Lol i do have java nvmnd i must have missed it going over the program files (i have 2 program files folders)

Could u tell me a step by step on where and how to put the .bat file please. I really have no clue where it goes.

As well when i double click the .bat it's saying that java is not recongnized as an internal or external command, operable program or bath file.

Are you sure that you have java installed? You place the .bat in the same folder as your minecraft.exe

No idea, don't own a mac however the command line should be the same. I have used the same commands on linux before.

Lag slayer it doesn't work the batch file and with the copy and paste thing i dont know what to do

I downloaded the .bat file, put it the same place as my minecraft.exe, still nothing changed. I can get into the loading screen, but I can't join mulitplayer servers or create single player world.
