Yes there are, while many migrated after their defeat in the war their are still strong communities remaining. I hear though that some settled with their cousins the Ostriches in Africa.

The Ostriches probably let the Emus come over so that they can form an alliance to invade Australia, then the Ostriches will set up a vassal state in Australia which is run by the exiled Emu king. The Ostriches, Emus and Rheas were at once unified under Phorusrhacidae I. Reallly all these have a royal bloodline so anyone could claim all the lands. What strikes me as odd is that the Cassowaries were interested in supporting the Emus although they are the only ones that were not unified by Phorusrhacidae I or II, infact they killed both these Emperors.

    Phorusrhacidae I

I propose this very serious discussion be moved immediately to the VV! Such an important subject deserves such prestige.

    oh boy this thread again.

the great emu war never happened. it's all anti-emu propaganda proliferated by Australia's intelligence bureau in order to impede immigration into the country.

Why are you denying something that obviously happened, your grandparents probably saw how the Emus massacred 700 Aussies every day. Your comments are offensive to veterans.

I know this was a while ago but here are the generals of the Emu side

This is Abelardo Montoya the mexican mercenary colonel and his half brother Big Bird, who gave Abelardo his position in the Emu army due to Big bird's corruption and secret drug lord connections.

This is Lord Foghorn Leghorn who was assassinated in the final offensive fifteen miles from Sydney which caused them to lose the war.

Here is Conrad pelicanutz in his years under Admiral Albatross, this is him after he became a drug addict and was useless as an admiral.

This is Emu Khan using his frightening Propaganda to repress the populace.

This is Admiral Albatross during his early years as an aviator, like Yamamoto he was the commander of the Fleet and air force. He too used propaganda to siut his needs, this is him painted as a holy apparition in which sailors supposedly worship him as God of Water and Air.

This is Donald "El Pato" who served on a Spanish galley for two years before he was rescued by Muslim pirates, he soon found himself in the Heathen Emu fleet (you see the Emus had no skills as sailors so they hired foreign mercenaries and volunteers) he was married to Admiral Albatross' daughter but like his father in law was killed in a battle 1 year after. He was a captain at the time but was the last capable sea officer for the Emus.

The dingo may have never gotten the chance to eat my baby!
Minister for Home Affairs of the Commonwealth v Zentai [2012] HCA 28 per Heydon J at [75]

Analysis should not be diverted by reflections upon the zeal with which the victors at the end of the Second World War punished the defeated for war crimes. The victors were animated by the ideals of the Atlantic Charter and of the United Nations. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights was about to peep over the eastern horizon. But first, they wanted a little hanging.
