I was just wondering is there an animation that does this in kingdoms vanilla etc? I was wondering since i was making an irish cavalry unit and they are recorded as using the overarm method (since they didn't use stirrups or saddles).

On the Bayeux Tapestry there are Norman knights using the spear both ways. Such an animation could be used for them as well. To answer your question, I don't know.

Using overarm method do you mean trowing spear?
Because for trowing spear, the animation might be found among the light horse types, I suppose.

I don't believe it is actually in M2TW but I think that Banzai added it in. I can check on it for you.
EDIT: No, it doesn't seem so.
