Nice idea with the Byz theme, and thanks for the update looks like TWC is going to ok after all.

We never had said right, however. No change there.

Logical change, but I don't think it'll affect the current one.
Consilium de Civitate becomes an advisory body for the Baileus in addition to its other role
What does this entail in both general and more exact terms?
Consilium de Civitate become local moderators of the Curia and Prothalmus (if the Curia wants it to)
So that's negotiable? Leave that to a vote.

May I also take it, given how the document stands, that we don't get to elect an exarch once this comes into effect and that both exarchs are therefore appointees, meaning all senior staff are appointed?

So to continue this logical line of thought the only groups who exercise veto powers are purely and entirely appointees of the Basileus?

to be totally logical, the only groups who exercise veto power are appointees of ON and in effect ON's veto is delegated to the Basileus (by himself) and the senior staff (2/3 of them required for a veto)

Actually Tac, the Basileus alone can veto pretty much any action as well:
can veto any action on TWC except those of the network administrators.

I can't even remember any bills we've actually vetoed in the past year anyway...

sorry, edited my post to make it clearer. Basileus effectively = ON for TWC so has ON's full delegated veto for themself. Senior staff need a 2/3 vote (Exarchs & Strategoi) to veto.

That's the only one I can remember, if I looked I might be able to find more; but during that twelve months the Syntagma was suspended for quite a while, eg while the Dec was sitting...

I actually like this Syntagma, it seems so much more simplistic than the current one, and I understand it much better. I understood the old Syntagma very well (Triumvirate days through late Sulla) but lately i've given up, that's why I dont debate in the Prothalamos. This one is very nice indeed.

He only asked for a bill they'd vetoed, no more. Fact; it was vetoed. Fact; vetoes are now purely by appointees of the Basileus or ON.

I understand, I was merely pointing out it was a rather exceptional case.

Its been a rather exceptional 12 months, given how long the Syntagma's been out-of action for!

From a Network standpoint, I think this Syntagma makes much more sense.

I can see some getting upset with this, but hey, that's life. Personally, I'd like to see the unchanged portions updated to call out the current terminology, because eventually, it will only be us old fogies who remember what a UL is.

    For example:

I give my approval to the staff and ON. You may now proceed with my blessing!
