The proconsulate of Iberia, recently conquered after the Second War with Carthage, is still a wild, unexplored land, a place where a Roman may make a fortune exploiting its wealth, or lead Roman dominace to a sudden downfall.

Proconsul Postumus,
I hope you are doing well in Hispania. As I have been selected as interim Quaestor, it is now my duty to catalogue the varied finances of the Republic. As my direct authority only extends to Italia and the surrounding islands, I ask that you yourself review the financial situation of the province, and send to me a report based on what you think shoudl be done. I will then present it along with my overall report. May Mercurius bless your proceedings.
Regards,
Tiberius Aurelius Cotta, Quaestor
