Hey Darth, I downloaded Fraps and ezvid this morning and threw together a quick battle. I got a little turned around by the end of the battle, so much that I was capping what I meant not to, and not capping what I meant to, so I scrapped the french charge, I will do another with a 40 unit campaign battle.

Not a problem. I had a few killer moments that I thought I had capped, but I was turned around with Fraps and recorded the setup, turned off the camera, then recorded the paused screen for a while...

Almost finished a 10 minute vid with a GREAT DEAL of improvement. Will update shortly.

Ok, so I'm not pleased with the quality of this video. I'll leave it for now, but I will be taking it down once I make another. I had tried to turn up my anti-ailiasing for the video, and my framerate suffered. Also, I have replaced ezvid, so video moving forward should be without funky dance beats LOL

Next improvements will follow in v2.4 beta:
-Better Howitzer impact smoke as requested
-Better more realistic march dust as requested
-Some gameplay improvements (waiting more feedback).

Anyway, I read http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=368636 while searching for some Fraps tips, and got a wealth of information. Looking forward to making more.

It wont be long until I need my own spoiler'd section on the front page...

Great to hear about the plans for the update too. If you want to send me some variations on the howitzer smoke I could make a vid showing off some different takes on them to get feedback pre-update... Maybe if people could see 2 or 3 ideas for the smoke on screen they could argue it out BEFORE its released.
