News from the Dwarven Empire!

Following repeated aggressions, the Dwarven Empire is now yet again at war with the Men of the North. Having unclaimed a piece of land near the Northman base, the Lords of the Dwarven Empire thought that peace could now at last return to the lands of our world. This was not to be, however, when 10Greenbottles unprovokedly killed KingSama. The Lord logged in for the first time since the end of the war, on the previously dwarven chunk, and was asked to move away in accordance with standard faction procedure. When Lord Sama did this, however, he was coldly and unprovokedly slain by 10GreenBottles and Abbews.

Naturally, the Dwarven Empire could not accept this egregious insult upon the peace previously established with the Men of the North. Rallying in Solgrundir, Imperial forces marched on northern lands and completely surprised their opposition, killing 10GreenBottles once and Lord Uxbridge twice in separate encounters. Patrick was sighted but evaded capture. Occupation of the northern lands followed. Great amounts of valuables were obtained.

The beginnings of peace negotiations were commenced, but these were foiled when 10GreenBottles lured Mitch and Hilary down into a trap - only Hilary died, however, as a result of being injured from prior falls and operations.

The Etat d'Lor then proceeded to declare war on the Dwarven Empire in an attempt to aid their allies, trying to sneak through the northern portal undetected and destroy the occupation force stationed in the Northman capital. Aanker, however, sighted them early in the Safe Zone and - once the battle lines crashed together - outflanked their force. Both Etat d'Lor members were slain with no dwarven casualties; the Lords commended them for their bravery in face of such odds, however.

Very modest to not mention the material losses the Norfs suffered Aanker. Greens pick is very shiny.

I also, as Aanker pointed out, commend the Etat's on their semi-stupid semi-brave charging of a full Dwarven detachment in iron boots.

You might notice that the Dwarves attacked us.

Yesterday, Sama was in full battle gear at our base. He said he wouldn't leave to Greens and he did only agree to leave when I showed up in my battle gear. Thing is, he then proceeded to advance further into Northern territory, on which we made a decision to kill the intruder.

It's hard to not move "further" into Northman territory when all the territory you are around is Northman territory.

Moving North, towards the Northern capitol, is the wrong way. If he would have headed to the public or the northern portal, it would have been fine. The fact that Sama openly refused to move away earlier when Greens told him to, killed our patience.

Unless of course he knew something like this might happen, and did this to provoke an excuse for which the Dwarves could launch an assault/Tinfoil Hat/
