The irony behind it all is that the currently most powerful faction on the server is also one of the most peaceful.

Scribo ergo sum.
My stories:
I need to start taking some screenies of my travels. Yesterday I walked through and around this huge castle in the South. Nice work. I left a little shrine for future travelers to pay their respects.

I don't look at coordinates. It was almost directly south from the Safe Zone, to the west of a great snow field and had a really cool looking waterfall just to the north of it on the coast that I swam in

There are several such in the South, though none even remotely close to those Coord's
Now, I got right up to the walls and then into a portion of the place and never saw anything that said it was claimed. What are the rules here? Assume it's claimed land and respect it? I guess being found inside by anyone would make it fair game to attack me huh?

Generally speaking the rules are as you stated, however destroying for the sake of destruction isn't necessarily against the rules as it is against the spirit of the server. Ultimately what you do is up to you though![]()
I'm more of an explorer than a destroyer. Only things I'm destroying are the blocks as I mine and farm beneath the ground. Thanks Decado.

It could've been parts of the former Vroengarde base, which doesn't exist anymore as a faction. Post some screenshots. If so, you could probably freely set up base in it.Now, I got right up to the walls and then into a portion of the place and never saw anything that said it was claimed. What are the rules here? Yeah, I just never think about screenshots as I wander around, constantly on the alert for inhabitants. Gotta get better at that. It's a cool Citadel. A shame it's empty.

To each his own - Left is right - and sanity is but an illusion.
Should Brotherhood summer camps start popping up I crudely made this
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
The Brotherhood actually appears to be quite tolerant unless you blatantly walk right into their citadel. The Northmen less so, though they have publicly declared that you can visit if you make your intentions clear from the start. The Order I am not quite certain of, neither do I know the stance of the Etat d'Lor or the Romans on the matter, but I would not suspect either are especially hard on travellers.
Seeing as we are located so far south, the Dwarven Empire has never really had a problem with random people popping up to visit us while we are online, but we do offer guided tours of the complete sections of our halls and allow the opening of embassies in the Foreigner's City, though none such exist yet.
Naturally, appearing unannounced inside our territory will be greeted with warnings and eventually, if the unwanted visitor persists, hostility. I believe that is standard faction procedure, though.

The Brotherhood are quite friendly. I strolled into their citadel yesterday unannounced and they didn't have any problems, but then again I'm polite and handsome.
Any word on letting Sev and I operate that hotel on the riverside, Bretheren?
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of it’s victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies.--C.S. Lewis
