I'm aware this might not be the exact right place to post this but since we don't have anything else doing on...
I just got a brand laptop and am pretty sure I have java fully updated and installed, but whenever I try opening minecraft it just shows this.

Any basic things I forgot to install that I have to, to get mc working again?

Video Drivers? Sound Drivers? usually those Brand Laptops are made so you can only use them for a year and then are forced to buy a new one.

Its a customized laptop. Not a store bought one. And yes all the drivers are installed

EDIT: Nevermind I think I did minecraft first. Just deleted and reinstalled mc and it appears to be working. Thanks for catching me out on the derp thomas!

Yeah I did that when java updated - I installed MC first and then installed Java and got the same error.

It's very nice of you, Thomas, to help him like you did with your great suggestion, which might have taken him a lot of time if you hadn't told him that. And Connor, I know you apologised before hand that this is not the right place to discuss it, yet thought it should be possible to post it now because nothing else was going on in this thread anyway. But if you have some technical issues you should make a new thread in this forum.
