Yeah... 10 million good reasons.
We neeeeeeeeeeeed, official, previews. Why you dont edit your first post and put all official stuff there? Its far easier when its one static post that gets edited time after time.
hmm yes ill try it. i guess i will make an own preview for france, because of their huge amount of different units.

That's my boy.
You know.... when you are done with that mod, maybe i should hire you to make another mod i have in mind.
what kind of mod should that be?
im thinkin of a russo-turkish war mod in the late 19th century

I am having quite a few ideas, including the Crimean War, the Russo-Turkish, the Franco-Prussian and a few alternate history in which the Roman Empire and the Kingdom of Hungary survive to late 1700, HRE centralized to a German Kingdom, America colonised by Chinese and Norwegians etc etc etc. Pick your favorites.
the first three are easy, because we can use the ww1 stuff.
i tried once to make a russo-turkish war mod. see here
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
now this would take me a week
HRE: the most interesting to me is the chinese-colonised america. it recalls me to the AoE asian dynasties chinese champaign. would be interesting....and a challange to stay realistic.

Thats my boy.... would like a Russo-Turkish war mode (actually i might have liked it even more than WW1, just saying).
As far as alternate history, maybe we could mix everything together and create a weird messed up world.
yeah! and the central forces probably win ww1 because there is no usa to support the entente.
found this fact:
to kill or wound a single soldier in WW1 19 000€ or 25172,5312$ were shot off.

because the weapon factories dont make weapons for fun and dont want to ruin themselves. and soldiers arent nourished by air and love.
would it be forbidden to use this as the battle theme?

Weapon factories can be taken over and work for free, minerals can be taken for free, food supplies can be gathered without the need to pay for them. When the nation is at war, thats what the rule should be at least. The reason wars are expensive is one: warmongering.
Yes it would be both forbidden and most important ANNOYING, i am sick of this goddamn song.
what would you suggest?

Great work on this mod!+rep Hope to see the Russo-Turkish war of 1877-1878. Make sure you include Romania as a faction aswell. Grand Prince Nikolai Konstantinovici of Russia requested the help of Romania to join with the Russian forces. Due to his rank Prince Carol I of Romania was named Marshal of the combined armed forces of Romania and Russia. The Romanian army won the battles of Grivitsa and Rahova and Osman Pasha surrendered the Plevna Citadel to the Romanian commander Mihail Cerchez.
yeah found a short clip on youtube, which shows charging romanian soldiers.

Well of course you have it. Now go ahead and do it.
I do have to ask myself though, seriously: This mod got quite a few rosters ready, and i have good hopes that in a month at most, we will have a good beta release for battles (maybe a beta campaign too, i dunno).
So why does Victoria Total War take so many decades to finish?
