You can use F12, too(that's from Steam).does anybody know how to make screenshot ingame with win 7 by using a key combination or any other simple way?
Then you must look for the folder where are your screenshots.
I'm sorry that I didn't remember where this folder is.
ah ok! i already use fraps and i think its useful, because you can save the screens anywhere you want!

So... again how far did you go with teh mod?
Btw, the Italian troops look remarkably.... Greek. Same color, same kepi, same everything. Though the Tommies, they really dont look British enough with their uniforms.

yeah they do because they had the same uniform colour. the kepi is not the same, the greeks had 2 types of hats: a flat cap with a black bobble and a cossack hat with an nape protection. and the british helmets are already coloured in a mixture of grey and green and the gloss file is fixed(no longer the cossacks fur collar and a more realistic belt) . but unfortunataly im not able to make ammo pounches.
the german stahlhelm and the french/italian helmet are WIP

Are you kidding me? What Cossack-like hat are you talking about? Check your previous thread, the one that sank at 3rd or 4th page and you will see i gave you some pics about it.
no im not kidding you. the cap, which is weared by many modern policemen is called "cossack hat" because of its origin in the russian cossack regiments.

Ahhhh THAT hat. It's not called like this here, so i got confused with the Usanka hat. But still, the hat you refer to is a post WW2 hat, or reserved for officers mostly. The infantryman hat was a kepi, until the adoption of the adrian helmet. I could try and find some more pics for you, but with 1 out of 5 sites today being closed, its pretty difficult.
yeah the british and the russian soldier all were equipped with the cossack hat. but youre right, the one which was similar to cossack hat with the neck protection was only used by the greek snipers and scouts. the big mass(conscript, regular) used a green flat kepi with a black bobble.
you know the ugly swedish hat? kind of a small tricorne and pretty difficult to make with milkshape. so i took the best looking from the line infantry model and transformed it into the swedish one. i think ill manage the greek kepi too.

Ah yeah, that was what i was talking about, though the language barrier, made it even more difficult to explain you. In Greek its called "Pilikion", so i got confused with the cossack hat. Anyhow, i am pretty sure you will manage to make the greek hat as well. If you need extra referances, just say so.
ok thx! you know any free 3d model programme?

Blender
I think it can read ms3d files if you add a plugin.
tested it long time ago but couldnt do anything. its quite complicated. now im trying to make a swedish hat with milkshape. in hard to do...

here is a very, very, very first beta version of the mod. it should be used by the startposers and .loc editors of the TWTEAW modding team. but anyone who wants to know how the finished mod will be should test this delta version of TWTEAW. the combat is already finished. there are some bugs in it, like ctds in the battle menu, but theyre seldom. some textures are still ugly or in developement in this version of the mod, but most of them are fixed now and look way better. so please dont complain about the buggy, ugly, unfinished textures. e.g. the swedish infantry is ugly in this version, but looks good in my latest version of the mod.
as mentioned above its only a template for the startposer. enjoy, and tell me if you find any bugs(except the textures ones )

You work really fast. We might actually see some sort of release for your mod.
May i inquire the specific features of your alpha release, dear sir?
what will be new in the next version, the gamma version:
fixed textures, dragoons for every faction, which had ones, and many new playable battle factions and late period units(stahlhelm, adriatic helmet). maybe some more guns and a new map(probably verdun, but thats not sure). and a new muzzleflash, made by greek firethrower. nevertheless i the unit are going to have on screen names.
in the alpha version there should be a whole world covering campaign with lots of special units for all factions. and i hope we get some of b-dizls great artillery models.
of course we will try to make it as realistic as possible.
