Theses aremagnificent and great miniatures !

However they concentrate more on the eastern provinces of the empire than the western ones ( Dromaderii, Legio XII, palestinian clubsmen...).
What is this miniature pack?

I've posted these links in a previous tread but I'm very, very happy that Rampante has shown again these magnificent miniatures!

The company is obviously British, its name is 'Armorum & Aquila' and it produces a wonderful range of 25 mm. wargame miniatures (the only one company in the world, me think) for the III century, the troops are not only oriental if you look at the catalogue and the production you'll see that the range can be adapted to every kind of third century roman unit! There are also Palmyrian Army, Sassanids and IV century Romans, great company!!!!

There will be unique auxilia and legios where possible. At the moment there will be 6 western auxilia units and 7 eastern ones.

For the legions there will be at the moment there will be 8 western legio units and 10 eastern ones.

So this will allow for regional recruitment plus a range of shield, helmet and armour types.

These Palestinian guys were mentioned in the Zosimos´description of battle at Emesa (272 AD) as part of the Aurelian´s army. I think you can see them in the sixth screenshot in the Persian preview. Personally, I look forward to this unit´s description to know something more about it. Yes, they were on our side.
