I can't get the mod to work. Installed into the mod folder but I don't know if I got the command line right in the set launch options. I am using

-run shizoku.bat

Is that right??

try unistalling and reinstalling

put the .7z inside medieval 2 total war/mods/ and "extract here", run the bat

In fact the iso not anything special mod units are Falcom, as the ground etc. iso on the menu only, units and cards which is easy to do.
I really do not have to give him credit for anything.

Well this beta was made by someone who really just loves what he its doing, passion for something, and for me thats enough to give him credit..

Dead? Nooooooooo!!! at least put the Mongols faction in the next fix!! please!! I also wanted to know if theres a way to put names to the units that doesnt have, it is sad that this great mod come to an end juts like everything else in the universe

I forgot if I asked this before, but why is the mod dead? You got units and I assume factions(I dont know how they work in relation of custom battle and campaign)...

Why not try making a map, and just make a really barebones campaign, then let whoever make submods for it? That way the mod continues on, possibly get "completed", and you wont have to be involved in it except for the basic mod

Granted, I dont think Asian mods are that popular, for some godawful reason(Historical ethnocentrism? Which is stupid since I thought everybody loved Japan and Samurai...)

I mean, I could see this mod, or a mod like it, being absolutely amazing. Make it most of Eastern Asia, have the Japanese facitons, some Chinese, Mongols of course, Portugese, Vietnamese, Cambodians, maybe even the Siamese. The possiblities are endless! Only problem is getting stuff mad of course

Very sad though Oh well, the Chinese are making some suwheet mods, just gotta get it translated into English. I cant even read Russian, so super damned if I can read Chinese XD

we've never forbid anyone to take up the mod and complete it... the only must, is that the possible renewal of the mod follows a certain quality.

nope, you may add them in descr_sm_faction to play them in custom battles though
