Fov camera option for MTW2?

I wondered if there was way to use the fov option in the preferences like we could in Rome, is there a way to use the option cause in the MTW2 preferences there is no such option, but i think that the Stainless Steel team managed tweak something that had the same "zooming" effect of the FOV alteration ,just as in Rome

FOV = field of view i presume? Can you post a screenshot from RTW? As i don't know what you are talking about. And i'm a SS dev member & i have so knowledge of such an effect in it.

Hmmm i must reinstall rome.
Basicly it gives a more zoomed in senstation to the battle

RTW has this entry in it's CFG file: CAMERA_FOV:75.000000

There is no entry for it in M2TW. There are however these entries in the text\shortcuts menu:
{fov_dec}Camera: decrease field of view
{fov_down}Field of view narrower
{fov_inc}Camera: increase field of view
{fov_up}Field of view wider

And it appears to have been de-activated in text\descr_shortcuts:

;;        fov_inc                NUM_9         repeating        
        rot_u                R             repeating

Enabling it shows them in the key settings but it has no effect so I am assuming the function is not available in M2TW.

I am not even a modder and I udnerstand more of that than u.
Of course the short cuts work.
And this has nothing to do with what I wanted to do. Besides what u said about Rome I already knew, lol.
U helped me not one bit.

Yes there obviously is a limitation for FOV, otherwise u could zoom out further. U just didn't find it!!!
