Awesome! So those little flags on the map indicate forts? The wall blocks access to the rest of the peninsula, and the only way to get through is to siege and take one of the four forts guarding it? Sounds like the Roman player will be smart to keep a couple units garrisoned there to keep the Slavs and anyone else out.
