Poita's battle challenge #3 (outnumbered)
I thought this one would be way difficult but i did it so tried it againw with two less pike men and one less archers. I would have done it easier but I chased 4 routing heavy Roman cav who re grouped and took out half my persuing cav.
I'm pretty sure it can be done without an elephant charge but i used one to cinch the rout.
Here it is.
Selucids V Romans.
Very hard level
Map: Libian plains.
Weather: Hazy.
Time: Mid day.
Size: Large.
Cash: Whatever is needed.
Ranks: all units on both sides up to three bronze on everything.
You are Selucids and you are on defend.
SELUCIDS.
1 Armoured elephant.
1 Heavy cav.
1 General cav.
4 Pikemen (the best ones)
2 Silver shield (cohort lookalikes)
1 Archer unit.
ROMANS.
1 General cav.
4 Heavy cav.
10 Legionary cohorts (the best of the none brush heads)
4 Urban cohorts (the best brushheads)
1 Armoured archer unit.
I beat this one every time though i expected to get slaughtered.
If someone can tell me how to post the massive screen shots (rather than the thumbnail links) i'll post em. I see the image insert icon but not sure how to use it.
