Hell i'm bored. I'm gonna keep you guys updated on my ever facsinating Greek campaign

Here's my Greek campaign:

I sent My General of Sparta, next too Corinth, with the Spartan Royal guard, and my general of Corinth with some militia phalangites, met up with him in the woods, to prepare an ambush for Macedonian troops. At end turn, they sent out troops, but were ambushed by my men, no doubt heading for my capitial Sparta, vunerable with out any walls. I was out numbered 3 to 1, and they had better quality troops. 3 professional Phalangistes, totalling 180 men, and one archer unit and alot of levie troops. and a General with his body guard.

They had time to prepare for the ambush, so i didn't catch them unawares. I had Spartan royal guard and one Militia phalangite unit, and some light troops, i had 160 men about 190 with my generals and thier body guards.

I ordered my militia phalangites into one of their Phalangite units, while the light infantry wheeled around into thier rear, the Spartan hoplites, went head long into the enemy phalanx, with thier superior combat skills slowly pushed through the long sarissa thrusting pikes, once they broke through, losing no men(only two to some enmy archers), they utterly destroyed the enemy. Meanwhile my Generals killed the enemy General, and went to help the Militia, while the Spartan hoplites proceded to finish off the last veteran phalangite unit, losing only 4 men in totalwhile the General mopped up their fleeing men. It got me a heroic victory, and a permanent victory marker on the map, for such a victory.

After this i sent the Troops back to Sparta for retraining, but the next turn Macedonia sieged Sparta, having no walls they would walk right on in. Things were worse then before, they outnumbered me to the extent of a joke, i had the same units as before, except some peltasts and another General of Sparta, i was gonna fight them on my town sqaure so my men would fight to the death, but they would've overwhelmed me such a large space. So i waited for them to just walk around the corner, all the Phalangites cannot fight in a Phalanx when they are disrupted, so the Spartan Hoplites charged in, holding off over 500 men, allwoing my Militia Phalangites into position, when they had lost most of thier unit i ordered them to retreat, having killed over 120 men in close qauters fighting, they had done well. then my Militia pinned them down, when it starting taking damage, i charged my general and thier bodyguards into the fray, they killed the enemy General on impact, and after a few minutes of fighting, their troops panicked, been cramped in such a tight space. The Body guards rode them into the dirt, none escaped to tell thier tale

There's about a 20 years gap sinse then. I have utterly crushed the Macedonians, the Antignons family line is no more. And now it is Romes turn, those meddling, Roman barbarians, have attacked my southen Greek cities in Italy. And i intend to destroy them all. Khelemones of Sparta died a natural death, my old faction leader, in his late 70's, he died before he could take Macedone's capitial Pella., My faction leader is an Athenian. I have dispatched a sizable force consisting of my faction leader and his hier, the Spartans, and a back bone of armoured Phalangites. They will meet up With Eprias of Phhyrus.

My attack on Capua failed, too many enemy units, and they attempted a night attack, there was units all over the place. But Pyrrhus did very well, obliterating a superior force. However Pyrrhus was killed a turn latter in an auto resolve battle, his army still won, but he was killed, a damn pitty( at least he didn't have a tile droped on his head by an old lady, and then was decapitated by an enemy soldier after he fell of his horse, , lol). Although he had a son, who's in Sparta. So his line will continue. The Romans went back to their repeated attacks on Tarrentum and Croton, in southen Italy. The army there, doing very well without a General. Those damned Thracians have been attacking Pella, and Ambracia, they wont **** off, they keep sending 3 stacks of cheap expandable infantry at my cities. Meanwhile in Sparta, Athenae and Corinth, the troops are been trained and equiped, Athens will soon have a foundry so all my troops can be given gold lvl weapons. And Sparta has been retraining troops to a high degree, with a small army of Spartan Phalangites.

I will take Sciliy, which is a rebel Island, it's wealth is needed. Then It's back to Italy, then north to britian, for my first objective, modern Ireland.
