You are right indeed. Damn, I had forgotten that and thus owe you a beer.
It is waiting should you ever come to Aarhus.

I suggest Macilrille to get better internet so he doesn't make these weird double posts.
Damn, another one...
I think DL-ing 3.0 + patch is taking up all my bandwidth ;-)
You can't add dragons because they were not in the 3rd age and game limitations
Smaug, Scatha, toilkan even said the dragons survived into and maybe beyond the Fourth age.
They i do agree about the engine limitations
They are possible, ask alreadyded
Yea, I already kinda told him in the thread he created...
Wasn't really directed at you
I was more telling EoH that he's too slow.
But don't ask things twice, there is this guy called MasterBigAb and he's really evil and he will eat your children (even if they are not yet born or stuff) so don't do it anymore.
MasterBigAb is Batman

Back on topic.
Double post from "First Impressions".
Upgraded from 2.1 + MOS to 3.1 + B.Samedi's mods yesterday (I will exchange BS' mods with MOS when MOS goes from Beta).
First impression is that it is an improvement; thanks KK + crew. I especially like the new quotes, thank you for ditching the film ones and going lore-ish I also like the new province allocation better.
There seems to still be a problem with the economies. Perpetually in deficit till you conquer the world is not much to my liking. I prefer to start in deficit then conquer some to get a decent economy running or disband armies to get it working. But that seems to not be possible. Nor is the tactic of turtling that most factions followed in the books. Basically you have to conquer or go bust. That is not really "historical"/lore.
Gondor's council asked me to take the Druedain Village as their first request. That settlement should probably be left alone, it seems it ever was.
General impression is that the game has improved in the upgrade. I am well-pleased, but I would like an economic overhaul so you can turtle and I would like to not be ordered to take the Druedain Village.
Those are still minor issues and I am having fun playing.
I don't understand why there are two hobbit archer units but no hobbit swordmen, I think thirt should be the four main hobbits in the film all carried swords
Will you please go and read the Hobbit and LoTR again? Quoting the films as a source is about as reliable as quoting "300" as a source for Greek history, and reading those really- REALLY GREAT pieces of literature should provide you with much joy.
I know I sound patronising, but it is late and I am grumpy from a headache, and tired of stating again and again that the films are not a credible source for anything concerning Middle-Earth. Sorry Isais it is nothing personal, but those horrendously un-loreish movies are...
*Stops writing to avoid going into Trolling mode.
I am sorry again.
To make up for it I will check the places in LoTR that deals with Hobbits for you and check their weaponry. I suspect there is an awful litlle, but there is one thing I know; Hobbits should have Slingers, possibly even instead of or over archers- I will have to check that.
Sleep well all. And remember if you will; the movies are no more a source than 300 is on Greeks of Antiquity or "13th Warrior" is on my ancestors.
Thanks.
Macilrille, could you, with your knowledge of the lore, explain to me why I have to massacare multiple groups of Hobbits with Aragorn and Gandalf when I start my Eriador campaign?
Suggestion for 3.2 (I know it has been said already):
Place bandits in the Shire regions instead of Hobbits. It feels really really really weird to have to kill those little midgets with Battle-ready Dunedain.
well u can try to kill them with archers instead...lol
