"GB2/HoME"
I have deduced, from your knowledge of Middle-Earth background, that you read scrupulously History of Middle Earth. Given your close-minded opinion on various aspects of Tolkien lore in detriment of TATW interest and gameplay, I believe that
you are better suited to that reading activity, and suggest you go back to it.
I guess it could work for some guys with Battle of Middle Earth as well...
Add hero and villain units to use in custom battles. I know a submod adds them but for many people, such as those who use Baron's submods which are not to be used with any others, the lack of heroes and villains in custom battles is an unfortunate obstacle. Also, is there any way to add gore to the mod? Some animations are obviously decapitations, but obviously there is no gore involved. Aren't there some M2TW mods that add gore?

I don't think adding specific generals to custom battles in M2TW is possible. Not completely sure, though.
For more gore you might want to check this out: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...ght=bloodnguts

You look great today.

In case Khamûl is on map from the beginning (havent played Mordor in 3.x), and you do not want to wait for a hopefully changed 3.2, you can edit that yourself.

Great mod.
After playing my Gondor Campaign I battled many times with Mordor and found them releasing my prisoners occasionally. Orcs with compassion? What happened to feasting on man-flesh?
Add two-headed trolls
And make an ogre unit

If I may be a nay-sayer, two-headed Trolls are only mentioned once, in The Hobbit and in passing. Something along the lines of "Trolls as a general rule are very impolite, even those with only one head."
So that, IMO, is a no-go if we want to keep true to Tolkien's work.
Ogres are not mentioned anywhere in Tolkien, so they too, should not be in.
Is there a Forgotten Realms Mod? Your suggestions might be more suitable for that.

I did a bit of experimentation.
It is possible for Arnor to buy both Dol Amroth and Minas Tirith, as well as Imladris.
I do not think that should actually be possible. But if it is; it should be possible for Arnor to recruit the special Dunedain Units of the two Gondorrian settlements, as it should if Arnor liberates it.
I tried adding "Byzantium" in the Descr_Unit document ownership of them, but it did not work.
Further, I also noticed that the forts of Rammas Echor did not change hands with the city it protects. They should.
The forts of Ramas Echor aren't forts anymore, they are special tiles so I don't get what you're saying.
You want the special dunedain units Arnor has to be available there? I thought dunedain can only been recruited from limited regions, it is for Eriador but I don't know about Arnor.
I also don't think Isais was serious, I hope not a t least.
The Hobbit is not a reliable source, as it's meant for children, and nowhere else are trolls with multiple heads mentioned, not even in the earlier versions of the Sil.
I'm not sure what you mean. You want Arnor to be able to recruit Dunedain units in Minas Tirith, and Dol Amroth?
Rammas Echor does not have forts anymore. In 1.0->2.1 you had to conquer them, just like all forts.

Ah my bad, I should perhaps update the game. Sorry.
My version is 2.1
And no, I wanted Arnor as another Dunedain faction to be able to recruit the specialised units of Dol Amroth in Dol Amroth; it being an independant principality directly subject to the head of Gondor. Hence should it end up in the hands of Arnor, Arnor should be able to recruit them. Just as it should, IMO, be able to recruit the Fountain & King's Guards in Minas Tirith, Axemen of Lossarnach there, etc. And just as Gondor should be able to recruit the Knights of Annuminas, should they get it.
Essentially Arnor and Gondor is the same culture, more than that; Arnor and Gondor is one Kingdom with the same culture sundered in two. Hence they should be able to recruit each other's specialised units if they posses the city/fortress at the right size. Their units are very alike already, so it is more for reasons of accuracy (or nitpicking if you want to call it that).
What I would really like is "Regional Units" like in EB, where more than one faction can recruit certain units in an area if they build the right buildings for it. If you like, imagine Rohan being overrun by Isengard, but then liberated by Gondor. The surviving Rohirrim would want to fight for their allies and liberators, but as the system is now that is not possible until a Library has changed the culture of a region enough.
But that is just my dream.
Double post, delete this as well please.
Ogres were mentioned in the context of the Riddle Game between Bilbo Baggins and Gollum. After Gollum asked a riddle about what "ruins kingdoms" and "beats tall mountains down", Bilbo tried to think of all the giants and ogres that he had heard of. None of them, however, were destructive enough to meet the description of the riddle.
It is possible that ogres were a mythical monster in Hobbit folklore rather than an actual race. It is also possible that, like Giants, they were simply dropped as Tolkien expanded Middle-earth and the related cosmology.
