    Okay, the Silvan Elves NEED to be fixed. I can't stand the green cloaks and the shabby golden mail they wear under their plate armor. The armor needs to be more golden, and underneath it needs to be RED. Then put a deep, matte blue cloak w/hood over all that and viola, real silvan elves

    Good day!
    I first want to thank u for this mod that brings me so much joy!
    Suggestions:

    For a more intensive feeling i want to suggest some other unit-balance. Ther are 4 options:
    The performance of fighting-ability, the unit-number, the cost of an unit, the recruitmenttime.

    I especialy like to see a bigger difference in the unit-number:
    normal units: 250-orcs, 120 men, 90 elves/dwarfes
    elit-units: 150-orcs, 80 men, 60 or 50 elves.
    commander (depends on the unit-sort):90/50 orcs, 60/30 men, 30/15 elves.

    that would be the given limits and the rest of the balance would be done by the other three options.


    Another thing is an event where u can decide if u want to have faster recruiting-time (all -1) or better growth (+0,5) or better finance-situation (+1000 per turn). But no negativ effects!

    So some wishes I know balancing is a hard thing but maybe someone had the same idea

    You can make these by yourself I think... I disagree about number of units already It is not perfect right now but you are talking about tooo much for normal scale...

    And the rest seems about camp. difficulty... If you play VH, yes you will suffer about the economy. Although i didn't try in med. camp. i think it should be different(easy) than VH... Most of the players prefer to VH/VH. So making it easier not a good idea. That is why there are diffclty level for camp if you want money&pop bonuses...

    This line in export_descr_sounds_stratmap_voice.txt is reason to the dwarven diplomat talking about 'a good day to' others and 'Scotland's people'.

    How about a small northman faction? U basically already have the units created by Disgruntedgoat.


    Also how about making the hobbit province a part or a vassal of Eriador? Feeling bad about killing those funny little hobbits!

    i dont know if it was mentioned yet but what about a second age total war? as a submod of TATW. or maybe a angmar campaign as in Battle for mittleearth 2 the rise of the witchking?

    yes making the hobbit province a part of Eriador would be quite nice. for me it was really making me angry when the high elves took it one turn before me... . maybe i have to start a war against high elves... with the weak troops of eriador ?!

    About the first suggestion: Why? Just why?

    The Shire used to be part of Eriador's starting positions but I don't think the autonomy thing works then so they made it rebel.

    This is a third age mod, there is a second age one in progress and the team will most definately not make it.

    There is no moral reduction. When the battle difficulty increase, it increases the enemy moral too. Your stats(moral, attack, def, stamina etc...) will be same. Thats why I like medium battles if there is a swordXsword fighting

    I am not sure what happen with "easy battle". But i.m.o. bec. game doesn't tend to change ur stats generally, i think enemy moral will decrease for this time(guys, am I wrong?). So yes, I disproof my first sentence Anyway, who cares what happen at easy battle

    Plus, there are arguments about stamina. It is not certain that the diffc. level affect(boost) the enemy stamina. And also it is not certain that how stamina works in Med2. Some says it is about recovering time, others say it is about how hard units get tired... I hope it works as second option otherwise it makes nosense to me. Nobody interest with stamina recovering time...

    Another thing is; I am stucked with hobbit units... There are more hobbit units than I expect. Actually I was expect none! Because I never thought there van be hobbit soldiers. And it seems they are not weak at all. Especially the archers...
    Are these units from the book??

    @Syanur: In the books, hobbits are discribed as a quite sturdy people who were quite renowned for their archery skill. I'm not really sure though if "hobbitry in-arms" were ever mentioned, but I believe there wassome sort of hobbit policeforce, the shirrifs.

    The only time hobbits took up arms in the book was when Saruman had taken over the Shire, they said there had been a battle long ago too, probably featuring Bandobras Took.

    Yep, Bandobras Took was, I believe, the one who killed the goblin chief in that battle (battle of greenfields I think it was called)
