Hey.
I have no idea about what happened. Yesterday it was working fine (even though I got some warnings yesterday in my - I have no idea what you call it: you know, that area close to the windows clock - saying stuff like "Chrome.exe - Damaged Disk" and "MSNmessenger.exe - Damaged Disk), I was here on TWC, checked my facebook and then left.
It wasn't slow or anything like that, because during the afternoon (and at the same time those warnings showed up) I actually played Skyrim for 10 minutes, on Ultra, and it didn't have any FPS breaks or any kind of slowdowns.
This morning I turn on the computer and it goes straight to some "checking disk errors" thing before Windows 7 really starts.
After that was finished, my desktop loads and I try to start Chrome. This happens.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Translated to English that's something like "it was not possible to run the application because the side-to-side configuration is incorrect. Check events registry of the said application or use the command prompt tool sxstrace.exe to get more informations"
I try to run MSN, Skyrim and couple of other games, plus Internet Exporer, and the same thing shows up.
Now, my final exams are almost there, I've got plenty of stuff in my computer and I don't want to lose my time formatting it![]()
Do you have any idea as to what's going on here?
Thanks.
P.S - I swear to God the next computer I'll own will be in English because it's so freaking frustrating to look up for this error massage and only finding a handful of people who had the same message but not exactly the same problem.
