Will ACW work while TAR is installed?

Hi I like to play TAR but I also want to play this mod is it possible to install ACW and play it without conflicts with TAR?

I also have both mods running besides each other. Aslong as you close both launcers properly there should be no problems.

hmm...I hear what your saying Primergy but I have still the problem of the TAR Movie has disappeared after I installed your mod! I even uninstalled TAR and reinstalled with no result. I am sure this is a user error and hopefully will get the problem sorted soon as I am stumped why I do not get the opening movie no more?

well our launcher doesn't mess with any other files besides ours acw_xyz ones and the upc one. I assume you deleted or moved it by accident yourself.

No thats incorrect, your mod uses movie files as well and somewhere the file switching process removed my TAR movie file using your mod. hip63 confirmed this with me and we will put this right in the final version of TAR release.

Its not a big deal and I can live with no movie till we fix it.

IF EXIST boot.pack move boot.pack .\..
IF EXIST ui_movies.pack move ui_movies.pack .\..
IF EXIST unit_pack_compatibility_project*.pack move unit_pack_compatibility_project*.pack .\..

Those are the three external files which get moved.

That's correct, well somehow your launcher deleted the UI_movie.pack and I have never been able to play the movie again since I Installed/uninstalled ACW mod.

As I said earlier it will be something simple that I may be overlooking so will fix when TAR2 is complete

No file gets deleted.
It get moved to the ACW Folder and after closing the launcher it gets moved to the data folder back.
